Two Tastes Video 3 – Caramel Sauce

Ok.  Our stove is filthy. But it was from making stocks from the Thanksgiving turkey carcass.  My brother B is filming (and he has a little voiceover cameo).

The recipe for the sauce is:

1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup of cream

Melt the sugar and water without stirring until the sugar is a nice caramel color. Add the butter and then add the cream.  Then you can stir vigorously over low heat until the caramelized sugar has dissolved in the cream and the mixture has thickened.
